We were on The One Show!

Pollinator Pathways was nominated for the RHS Growing Together awards, and came joint second place! Being a finalist meant we were also featured on The One Show.

The awards celebrate community gardening projects around the UK. Ours is an unusual project for an award of this type, because each project alone is a small amount of greenery compared to most community gardens. But together, they alleyways form important wildlife corridors connecting green spaces and adding plants to places that are otherwise ecologically defunct.

We filmed with the BBC for 4.5h last month, and were delighted to show off two of our latest alleyways in Easton.

We never expected to receive any recognition for this project, so to get runners up in an award fronted by the BBC and RHS is huge for us!
